HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY PEIQI!!! (in RED, in real, BOLD letters :D ) <3
E-learning, and it's SS! I should really do the forum discussion like...now. But I will, soon, as soon as I revive my blog.
Honestly, I think e-learning doesn't help and if everyone just starts LEARNING (sarcasm intended) from home, there's a good 99% chance that I'll flunk my exams and be made to repeat the entire syllabus, no? I'm sorry that I haven't done anything productive too :( However, you've got to admit that the emoticons at Heucampus are cool, plus the fact that somehow teachers develop the powerful mighty ability to freeze your TPCs 8D
It makes no sense that I'm so exhausted now since I slept BEFORE 12 (AM pls) last night and I get to sleep in more than I usually did, on normal school days. Not that I've been slogging my guts off yesterday either... Sigh.
Anyway, I realised I went to school for only 3 days the past two weeks! Cool, no? :D
I (Most of us were :() was quite disappointed when we were cruelly informed that the theme has been changed to The Human Genome. After spending 3 horrible, makes-no-sense days at the DNA workshop, we were back to DNA polymerase, Taq units, PCR buffer (!!!), to name a few. IMCB's was more independant (?) though, and we learnt more stuff and they've got a MUTATION ROOM :O I wonder if wings really start developing from your nostrils and you grow and extra limb out of your ear.
Note: I have no idea really, but whoo, that's probably what's gonna happen when you come into contact with the deadly chemicals. Effect: immediate. Beware!
On Teacher's Day, we sneaked into school and Ms Poh was "Eh??? Why are you here?!" Ms Poh is cool 8D Which reminds me, the bio consultation Daphane and I were supposed to have over the holidays... *extreme guilt*
And bio reminds me of...DISSECTION OF A SHEEP'S HEART on Tuesday! The sheep's liver was VERY SMOOTH and nice to touch. If you didn't mind it could have been a good replacement for your pillow, man. We were playing with the sheep's heart which appears gross and I think it stinks. Its heart is flappy! Thanks to the valves of course.
I'm about to finish my book yayayayay. But it was very saddening, though. I think I'm feeling quite excited about later, yay.
If only hearts could find us all,
if only hearts didn't have to fall.

The last day was enjoyable cause Baohui, ee hwee and I made a new friend - Mr Spidey. As the name goes, yeah he's a spider and HE NEVER DIES!! :O Power really... Smart, intelligent, hairy, black, huge. My patrol's got the Most Persevering Award. After the campfire, Polly B, K, Y had a gr8 time sneaking around with cameras hoooooooooooooooooohoooooooooooooo. :) On day 2 you sucked at breakfast. We sang Kum Ba Yah as orderlies. At night, we talked about our trip to Perth and I think we looked weird doing Crazy Elephant! Hehe. Kayaking. The water is gross, and daphane had to throw pieces of bread (??) at us. Lunch. Was made to kayak for the second time but I was excused! Great. Went to trekked instead. Flowers. Branches. Banana. Coconut. Stones. Cans. Overslept on the last day. But we=pro and managed to finish everything at the speed of lightning. Striked tent etc etc, played with Mr Spidey, was bugging X about it. Yeah. Major gossiping/ bitching/ complaining session heeee. Home.

Heyyy I'm back, I think Perth was nice :) On the plane back to Singapore, I was feeling scared and dreadful cause of the many things I've yet to do/ got to do. While I was at Perth, I think those things didn't really matter, at all.
June 12
I woke up at 5, feeling very exhausted cause I had very little sleep, left the house soon after and headed for Changi Airport. I was early (just A LITTLE) so went to T2 to have breakfast before rushing back to T1 again. And oops I was late, hehh. Checked in and we attempted to shop but there really wasn't anything much. Then I found the phones (FOC somemore HAHAHA) and I called Grace and woke her up for no reason :D Sorry hehe ILY though (L) Took some photos and then we boarded the plane! I had the window seat with Janice (I think) but then everyone started switching places so yeah, we did too :)

The inflight entertainment was down so it was kinda boring. I was really tired I slept A LOT A LOT on the plane! I slept, woke up, ate, and slept all the way to Perth again O.O It was around 2 when we touched down, headed for King's Park thereafter, it was freeeeezing cold. Oh, our bus driver's Paul btw, and he's nice! :D

It was already getting dark at 5 plus, and real dark at 6 (haha my english sounds...funny). Had dinner at Indonesia Indah (?), an Indian restaurant and there was FISH for dinner again. (fish on the plane for lunch!! but I only touched a quarter of it so...heh) What a fishy day... @_@ After dinner, we went to a convenience stall to buy cookies, potato chips, chocolates etc before finally, finally, checked in at Comfort hotel where we stayed at for 2 nights.
Bathed and did random stuff before discussing our retirement village item, and then Jessica and I went back to our room! (if you're interested, it's room 108. Actualy, I'm blogging in details because I want to remember this, for my own future reference!) I think our hotel beds are gross! Maybe it's just me, I hate hotel beds and I bring my sleeping bag and lay it on the bed and sleep in it?! I had no sleeping bag of course. Jessica's bed had stains on it HAHA. I didn't even want to look and check! In the end, I laid my only 2 towels on the bed and slept. Someone called in the middle of the night, which woke both of us! I thought I've been sleeping for ages, but it was really just 2 hours :O Thennnn, my leg woke me up twice later in the night I felt like dying!
June 13
Woke up feeling very recharged cause I finally caught some sleep :D:D Changed etc and headed to the hotel cafe for breakfast. There were loads of food! Cornflakes, bread, english muffins, toasts, fruit yogurts, milk, coffee, tea, pineapple juice, fruit tarts, pineapple tarts, croissants, apple juice (Y) and the list goes on.

Then headed for Environment Centre and the place was real coool! It was like a hut and the way it was built is very interesting. We saw many pretty flowers and visited the hens, once battery hens really :( They felt very soft and fragile. Turtles. Skeletons of many animals like the shark, kangaroo, dolphin and even one f a pufferfish! Their toilets had no flush and it turned out that whatever went in (MR PEE AND POO) were used as fertilisers! And the toilets didn't even stink, much better than the toilets in Singapore, even if there are flushes!
Set off for a chocolate factory afterwards where we tasted and bought chocolates and nougats. Yummm. There were so much I was being even more indecisive than usual. Oh yah this Morish nuts I bought costs $7.50 and when we went to Fremantle a few hours later, I found that it was only sold for 5 bucks there!! Sigh. Lunch @ Sweetlips was very good, their fish and chips were (Y)! Also, the lucky ones (Like those eating at the same table, Jessica, Mei Xuan, Belinda and Vivien) got the cool drink Passiona it tasted nice, something different from what we normally drink! :) Sadly, after rushing through lunch, I only finished about half of it. It was really a big portion though!
Then we went to Fremantle and I anyhow shopped cause ... LIMITED TIME! :( And I was afraid that due to my indecisiveness I wouldn't get any shopping done, so I wasn't using my brain and bought this PAPER purse for 8 BUCKS plus it's not even in Singaporean dollars! Wth was I thinking?!? I think I wasn't EVEN THINKING. I think it spoils easilt too and is real vulnerable. But nvm, it's nice, my sister says so too! Bought other stuff and we went to Samson Primary thereafter where we had the guides exchange. (the other UGs from our school were there too) THE AUSTRALIAN GUIDES WERE DAMN CUTEEE! Haha. Had some interaction with them and Vivien and I almost died cause we were nervous about the presentation. At last we didn't have enough time so yah. No presentation. Bad thing is, we spent so much time before the trip to do the ppt! :/ Sigh nvm. Tea. During interaction, I met someone called Tiffany and I was speaking and then she told me that she was deaf on one ear. I think I went sth like "Oh.." and I felt awkward and spoke louder. She's new to guides(Like you care!!) Games! The Australian guides were divided and we played the Human knot and this jumping number game. Jessica and I were the first pair to start (haha I know you don't get what I'm saying at all, but as I said, it's for my reference so it doesn't matter:P ) and it was v funny cause I was being such a loser hehe. The Australian guides did colour party OMG very cool!!! Their colour party is different from how we do it in Singapore, no offense but it's like cat walk. Very neat and quick ;) More interaction and then it was time for us to show them our colour party. I was colour party together with Mun Yee and Mei Xuan. I thought it was like ... FOR FUN ONLY HAHA who knows everything was damn quiet and serious and evtg I was very scared. Furthermore, it's the first time Mei Xuan was tying the flag thing to the pole so... Anyway, it turned out fine so yay.
The Australian guides gave us (the guides) these sew on badges I like them a lot!! :D And one of them was guides promise *BEAMS* Said Goodbye before we headed for BBQ dinner. I was asleep on the bus and commotion woke me up! Then Jessica (she was my bus partner as well YAY I LOVE YOU) told me the Australian guides were waiting for us!! Cool??? VERY! So it was like a surprise. :):) I was trying to see them in the dark. Got off the bus and I saw all of them waiting for us. Gave us the glow in the dark bands! :) Oh that night, I was very very very very very cold X infinity, all of us were! There was even smoke (er you know...we call that smoke) as we spoke. We started off with this activity where we could print a piece of paper on a piece of cloth I LOVE IT A LOT! <3 The cloth, I think the whole thing is just innovative :) Wrote out names on our cloths and brought it to dry. They had blankets for us on the ground to sit on and chairs around us for the adults, all of us sat around the campfire and brr was it cold! Megan and this other guide (I can't remember her name!) sat with us and we sang really cool campfire songs like...
KUM BA YA!
I am eating my Lord, kum ba ya,
I am eating my Lory, kum ba ya,
I am eating my Lord, kum ba ya,
Oh Lord, Kum ba yah.
(You can replace "I am eating" with "Someone's crying", "Someone's laughing" etc)
More songs when I find my programme booklet :S I must find it!
The adults barbequed food for us (dinner) while the campfire went on. Then it was dinner time! Got food (I had hot dog bread and some chicken I think) and we huddled around the campfire I got all fascinated by the fact that we could produce smoke HAHA. Super cold I think I've said this many times but, EMPHASIS!!! It was winter at Perth, which explains the extremely cold weather. It didn't snow though! I drank hot, expired Milo and burnt my tongue cause I couldn't wait to drink it I was cold! There were many, many stars that night, very beautiful and they remind me of Amanda haha :) The campfire continued and we sang songs. Before we left, they even had potato something prepared for us. I think it just tastes like bread though! Or perhaps it IS bread heee. Took photos with Megan, collected our cloths, had marshmallows before bading them goodbye :( Boarded the bus to our hotel where I slept throughout the whole journey!
June 14
Again, Jessica woke up earlier and I was lazing in bed while she was alr done :S Packed our luggage and Mei Xuan, Belinda, Jessica and I brought our luggage to the luggage room at the retaurant and had the same breakfast at the hotel cafe. Checked out and we headed to the Honey Farm. I love it there cause it sells very interesting stuff! The honey ice cream we ate was damn goodI bought Wildflower Honey and Jarrah Honey, a healing honey! Heal the soul~ OH YES!!! I cannot leave out this fairytale book I bought, 4 pages only but it's gorgeous! And it has like jigsaw puzzles inside. Pretty :):) Didn't use my brain again and bought this super small notebook for $6 what a waste of money!! Spent a bomb there. AND WHEN I WAS QUEING TO MAKE MY PURCHASES WITH BELINDA...WE SAW A KANGAROO! hahaha I immediately thought of cubbb. I abandoned all my stuff with belinda and rushed outside the honey to take photos of Mr/Mrs Kangaroo!

I think it's v cute! :) Ok I think I sound too excited about the kangaroooo but I've never seen one IRL. After that it started hopping INTO the honey farm (which is indoors) omggg cutie! hahaha. After that we said bye to the kangaroo, went up the bus and headed off to Guilderton. The countryside is beautiful and I saw many animals. The weather was really good as well :D Paul sang and played some Australian songs and one of it has "Matilda" in it. Idk the song title but I think it was nice.
I know, all you can see are trees but the song rocks! Hehe.
At some point of time we were stuck on the road for quite sometime cause there was an accident. A man was dead on the road, Paul and the teachers got off the bus to find out what was happening and then the helicopter, police and the ambulance arrived. Turned out that he was drunk and hit the pole as a result, and HE DIED, so dont drink and drive okay!!! Went on to Guilderton where we had BBQ lunch by the river, that place is very peaceful and beautiful!

After lunch, we were divided into 2 groups and the first group went to sandboard while the rest of us had a bus tour around Guilderton. Most of the time which, I spent sleeping (basically, I spent a lot of time sleeping, all of us did because we were always exhausted) while Paul talked to us a lot (ooops! He knew we were asleep but was always very nice about it). Then it was our turn to sandboard! Walked to the river place and the boat man (I forgot his name!) came to ferry us to the sand dunes. Before sandboarding, we had a river cruise OMG it was beauuuuuutifool and peaceful and the weather was splendid! After that we sandboarded on the board (haha??) and slid down the sand dunes!! It was very fun unless you get stuck halfway like the first time Jessica did and she had to push herself all the way down the sand dune. Not very nice :/ Yeah. Mine went pretty well and fast! :D Took some time there before we took the boat back to Guilderton and headed off to Orchard Glory farm resort where we stayed at for the next two nights!

Mun Yee, Janice, Belinda, Mei Xuan, Jessica and I shared a chalet (Vivien stayed at Valerie's); Jessica and I shared a room!

After that, all of us (the UGs) went down to the conference hall for dinner. We had spaghetti which sucks greatly, I had tuna spaghetti that is v v v dry and not very nice! Three cheers for my mom who cooks better spaghetti! :D Then had ice cream and fruits before returning to our chalets and then meeting up again to rehearse for our retirement village item.
15th June
Today was spent at the farm where we had interaction with the animals, treasure hunt etc! Breakfast at the farm. Oh yah did I mention that the owner of the farm resort are Singaporeans which is real cool cause they know "Redhill" etc? :P And they've got a daughter Nicole who is very cute and speaks well. We fed horses (ok I attempted and failed miserably cause I think their mouths were...hugee)

It started to rain heavily can you imagine the extreme colddd! Went to the winery where we got to BOTTLE wine and package them (bottle only, not tasting/ purchasing!!)

They demonstrated sheep shearing before us, damn gross! Poor sheeps DDD:

Had lunch, at the conference hall again before treasure hunt around the farm resort. We won for the treasure hunt games! We had to do things like finding 7 different kinds of fruits and 15 kinds of leaves etc, and Jessica, Kelly and I looked for the fruits. I went to climb the fence to pluck the fruits haha very fun but I cut myself as a result. Then we played more games, fed animals like the rabbits, prepared the the tribal pursuit at Kelly's chalet right next to ours and had dinner. That day was very rainy. Very! After dinner was the tribal pursuit, our title was Colour Fool. +++ We got second yaaay! Rehearsed for the retirement village item thereafter. Ate much and the entire skit was changed. LJW and mr ravi came to #6 and after that all of us returned to our chalets.

June 16
The last day! Packed our luggage etccc and left for breakfast at the conference hall. Then, we returned to our chalets, got our luggages and left for our Adams bus :P Paul was waiting there for us!

On the journey to the city (I think), we saw a rainbow!:D A fooool rainbow ;)

Slept on the bus again and seemed like we were early and so Paul, Francis (our tour guide) and the teachers (finally) brought us to a shopping centre!! :) We had only about 1/2 hour so we were really rushing and trying to spend our $$$.

After that, Paul drove us to the retirement village where we performed our skit (there were 3 groups amongst all the UGs). I think there were very few elderly who enjoyed our performance... Had interaction with them, while we were interacting Belinda and I decided to go over to this man cause I thought he looked ... sad. Yeah. When I started talking to him then I realised that he was deaf on one ear and he seemed REALLY sad and I felt really guilty cause as we were singing I think he couldn't hear us... I was speaking next to his ear but he couldn't hear properly, still and it was very saddening cause I think I/we reminded him of his past so...yeah. Left for lunch afterwards. It was at a chinese restaurant and I ate a lot! Proceeded to the airport after that. We didn't get to do shopping, only after we checked in did we do some duty free shopping... Was trying to buy more stuff and bought chocolates and Australian macademias. Boarded the plane and it was very crowded cause St Andrew's Primary was also on the plane. This small boy was sitting next to meee. I attempted to watch the movies but no, I never finished one movie cause I kept dozing off! The food served was horrible, I didn't touch it except for the bread, chocolate and apple juice. Yeah. Watched simpsons.....stoned, ice cream, snacked, then it was about time when we touched down!
Reached home, unpacked, did reflections and yeah. Slept,
So this is the end of the Perth trip, not a lot of ppl photos, I'm still waiting for more!
This is such a long post, I don't expect anyone to read/ get so far. Yupp bye!

Did the guides banner, the atmosphere at the canteen was ... (peaceful? Inserts appropriate word!) Cause there were only a few groups there, and only the guides (save the workers installing the TVs whatever in the canteen). Pei qi declared her love to me a million times~~ But (L) I love you back! Fortunately she was around, she scolds eehwee for me, heh. What's going to happen if you don't come for camp!!! But that's okay, bring our identity to shanghai
1. Wipe any tears (OF JOY OK)
2. Look at it and be happy cause you know camp is going on well
3. KEEP IT CLOSE TO YOUR HEART AHAHAHA. I know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why don't you pin it on to your shirt or sth? JUST FOR THE PLANE RIDE, COOLZZZ!
Went to have our lunch afterwhich!
Finally, I learnt how to sew today. Whatever I did sucked though....Really, Li Xuan's was horrible! Thanks to me :S:S :( Then when daphane came back from tuition it was like................................war time or sth?!?!?! SUPER NOISY

Just minutes before she called me I was still thinking "omg I cannot wait for camp!" I was soooo excited okay! :(
(do you feel guilty, KIDDING ILY! <3)
Sigh. Okay I know you really want to go too so I'd better stop talking about this, or you'll feel worse. D:
I miss the past week(s) preparing for farewell with everyone, it has been so much fun (even though we were really tired and everything, "Even if we put in 200% of our energy now, we'll never finish them. We'll never make them look good") but now we've got our own duties so I guess we won't be bonding as much anymore... I miss everyone already!

“ Now i can proudly say from the bottom of my heart: I LOVE SEC 3 GUIDES!!!!! Miss you all much”
